At the Boat Lift, we firmly believe that discovering our technical and historical heritage should be an experience shared by everyone, without exception.
We are pleased to inform you that our site was officially accredited on 17 December 2025 to accommodate two families with disabilities:
- -Intellectual disability
- -Hearing impairment
The development of our certification scheme benefits from the expert support and guidance provided by Pas-de-Calais Tourisme and APF France Handicap.
This award recognises our efforts to adapt our visitor routes, signage and staff training to the specific needs of our visitors.
Achieving this accreditation is just one step. We do our utmost, every day, to continue improving our facilities and services. Our aim is simple: to offer a high standard of care to all members of the public, whilst ensuring everyone’s comfort and independence.
